Leader of the Year recognises an individual making an outstanding contribution through vision, leadership and impact.
The Leader of the Year award is one of 10 categories in the first-ever EcomExpo E-Commerce Awards — the Baltic region’s e-commerce awards, judged by an independent jury and announced live on 1 October 2026 in Vilnius. Here is what it rewards, what a strong entry shows, and how to enter.
What the Leader of the Year award rewards
It rewards people, not campaigns — sustained influence on a company, a team, or the wider Baltic e-commerce community.
What a strong entry shows
Every entry is scored on the same 100-point rubric — goals & budget, target audience & strategy, creativity & innovation, execution, and results & impact (weighted highest). For Leader of the Year, the jury looks for:
- The leader’s role and the impact achieved under their direction
- Business results, and team or culture outcomes
- Contribution to the wider industry or community
- Specific decisions or initiatives they led
- Why this recognition is deserved now
Leadership with attributable impact
Evidence to look for: Connect a specific decision to team execution and a measurable business outcome. Describe the leader’s responsibility and the contributions of other people.
What needs context: Use references with permission. Avoid crediting one person with every result or exposing confidential employee information.
Illustrative example — not an actual entrant: A leadership decision to redesign onboarding can be evidenced with the old and new process, training records and comparable time-to-productivity data, with team contributions acknowledged.
Editorial guidance, not additional judging rules. Entries are closed. For an existing submission, follow your confirmation email; do not treat this checklist as an invitation to submit new material. See the published rules or contact the awards team.
