Best AI Implementation recognises innovative AI in personalisation, automation, search, recommendations or operations.

The Best AI Implementation award is one of 10 categories in the first-ever EcomExpo E-Commerce Awards — the Baltic region’s e-commerce awards, judged by an independent jury and announced live on 1 October 2026 in Vilnius. Here is what it rewards, what a strong entry shows, and how to enter.

What the Best AI Implementation award rewards

It rewards AI that ships and delivers measurable impact — production work, not pilots or demos. This is a flagship category as agentic commerce reshapes the industry.

What a strong entry shows

Every entry is scored on the same 100-point rubric — goals & budget, target audience & strategy, creativity & innovation, execution, and results & impact (weighted highest). For Best AI Implementation, the jury looks for:

  • The problem, and why AI was the right tool for it
  • What you built or deployed, and how it runs in production
  • Impact in numbers — conversion, efficiency, cost, or time saved
  • Adoption, and how it changed the day-to-day workflow
  • The guardrails you put in place and what you learned

AI that improves an operation

Evidence to look for: Measure task volume, time per task, error rate and total operating cost before and after deployment. Explain the model, human review and fallback process.

What needs context: Separate saved time from cash savings. Record failure cases and the cost of monitoring.

Illustrative example — not an actual entrant: At 1,000 comparable tasks, a drop from 12 to 8 minutes saves about 67 working hours. That is capacity released, not automatically 67 hours of payroll savings.

Who should enter

Teams running real AI in production — personalisation, search, automation, or operations.

Questions

Do AI pilots qualify for this award?+

Production work with measurable impact scores best. A pilot can qualify if it shipped and moved a metric; concept demos without results do not.
